Parent Teacher Conference
Hi all . . . so this week was parent teacher conferences. There are a lot of tiny technical details that I won't bore you with and don't have the energy to wrote about right now . . . ha ha ha . . . but all in all it went good. His behavior is much better which is huge for Gregory!! Main issues are academics. Lots to work on and he is not where a "typical" first grader should be but I'm so proud of this boy. He is meeting or at least progressing in his IEP goals! His teacher thinks that in a few years he should be able to be in a main stream classroom more. This is one happy mama!

Beans
We did not attend the Galactosemia Conference this summer . . . but the big news is beans/legumes are ok. They have been leaning towards this for awhile now. We decided to go ahead and give it a try. Gregory was a family favorite restaurant where he usually eats a hamburger. This time he had a bean burro. No cheese. And he loved it! So exciting!

First Day of School
Gregory is officially a first grader. I cannot believe I have a first grader! He is going to the same school . . . the one he started last year for the last quarter of school. Same teacher. I really think this is going to be a good school year for him! I'm glad he'll be going the whole school year and hopefully make some good progress!

Star
We took a vacation to go see my mom, mamo and grandpa in Star, Idaho! Such good old fashion summer fun!!!
Plan ride.
Play ground by my moms.
Boise River. Brrr. So pretty though.
A little hike.
Another park to play on the play ground. And the serve the best shaved ice!
The boys chillin'.
Relaxing with lamby from the long day.
The cow was this close across the street from my mom's.
My mamo/his momo took him to get some new school cloths! And some pretty cool sunglasses.
Picnic lunch out side.
Pool time.
And of course the stinker chicken who keeps getting out!
Another park with a water slide! It took some serious coaching to go down it but he did and LOVED it!
Another park to do paddle boats. So fun.
Such a great trip we will not forget!
